A Prefeitura Municipal de Campo Grande, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura e Turismo (Sectur), entrega nesta segunda-feira (27), a revitalização da Praça Pantaneira. O prefeito Marquinhos Trad participará às 15h de um ato para reabertura do espaço, cuja programação contará também com exposição de animais.
Conhecida também como Praça do Poeta, a área localizada ao lado do Paço Municipal permaneceu fechada para as melhorias por cerca de 60 dias. A estátua do poeta Manoel de Barros, bem como a dos animais da fauna pantaneira, ganharam pintura nova e retoque. O trabalho foi feito pelo artista plástico Levi Batista. A Secretaria Municipal de Infraestrutura e Serviços Públicos (Sisep) também realizou manutenção da área.
Segundo a titular da Sectur, Nilde Brun, a soma de esforços reavivou a Praça. “Queremos fazer este trabalho em todas as praças para que as famílias possam usufruir dos espaços que temos. A Praça Pantaneira ficou linda e continua sendo um belo cenário para fotos. O local recebeu pedras para compor o cenário, além da colocação de peixes”, informou.
A parte de jardinagem da praça receberá manutenção das empresas Casa das Sementes e Raulf Mudas, que adotaram a área por meio do Propam.
