A segunda noite do carnaval paulista será aberta às 22h30 de hoje (2) com o desfile da Águia de Ouro. A última escola a passar pelo Sambódromo do Anhembi será a Gaviões da Fiel, às 5h. Cada desfile deve ter entre 55 e 65 minutos.
Segundo o Centro de Gerenciamentos de Emergências da Prefeitura de são Paulo, a previsão para esta noite é de céu encoberto e chuva, com temperatura mínima de 18 graus Celsius.

Para abrir a segunda noite de desfiles do grupo especial, a Águia de Ouro chega com o enredo “Brasil, Eu Quero Falar de Você!”. O tema trata das diversas formas de exploração que o povo brasileiro foi submetido, desde a época colonial, com a escravidão de índios e negros, até a desigualdade social dos dias de hoje.
Dragões da Real
“A Invenção do Tempo. Uma Odisséia em 65 Minutos” é o enredo que vai impulsionar a Dragões da Real no segundo desfile de sábado. O tema faz uma reflexão da relação da humanidade com o tempo. A escola foi vice-campeã em 2017, quando perdeu o título pelos critérios de desempate para a Acadêmicos do Tatuapé. Antes, tinha alcançado a quarta posição em 2013.
Mocidade Alegre

Fundada em 1967, a Mocidade Alegre chegou a ser pentacampeã entre os anos de 1969 e 1973. Conquistou títulos também em 2004, 2007 e 2009, e alcançou o tricampeonato entre 2012 e 2014. Este ano, a escola vai à avenida com o enredo “Ayakamaé – As Águas Sagradas do Sol e da Lua” sobre a lenda indígena da criação do Rio Amazonas – uma história de amor entre o sol e a lua.
Vai-Vai

Uma das mais tradicionais escolas do carnaval paulistano, a Vai-Vai foi fundada em 1927 a partir de um cordão que animava o bairro do Bixiga, na região central da capital. Desde lá, ganhou 15 títulos desfilando pelo grupo especial. “Vai-Vai, O Quilombo do Futuro” é o enredo que vai impulsionar as alegorias neste ano. O tema lembra as lutas do povo negro por liberdade no passado que se transformam em uma batalha contra o racismo nos dias de hoje.
Rosas de Ouro

Com o enredo “Viva Hayastan!” a Rosas de Ouro faz neste ano uma homenagem ao povo armênio, vítima de um genocídio praticado pelo Império Otomano (atual Turquia) no início do século 20. A última vez que a escola ganhou o título do carnaval paulista foi em 2010, antes havia sido premiada em 1994, 1983 e consagrada tricampeã entre 1990 e 1992.
Unidos de Vila Maria

A Unidos de Vila Maria faz uma homenagem ao povo peruano e as suas origens no Império Inca com o enredo “Nas asas do grande pássaro, o voo da Vila ao Império do Sol”. São lembrados símbolos da região como o condor, os templos pré-hispânicos e as montanhas da Cordilheira dos Andes.
Gaviões da Fiel

Neste ano, a Gaviões da Fiel fala sobre o tabaco, uma reedição do tema de 1994. “A Saliva do Santo e o Veneno da Serpente” traz os dois lados da planta, que pode ser usado de forma medicinal ou para prazer, mas também pode fazer mal se usada abusivamente. A escola acumula quatro títulos em seu currículo: 1995, 1999, 2002 e 2003.
