Direitos humanos são pautas de todos e para todos, afirma ministro

O ministro dos Direitos Humanos, Gustavo do Vale Rocha, afirmou hoje (21) que aguarda que o presidente eleito Jair Bolsonaro mantenha as políticas do setor durante seu governo. Segundo o ministro, os temas relacionados aos direitos humanos pertencem a todos, não a uma ou outra ideologia. Ele ressaltou que os vulneráveis devem ter os direitos assegurados.

“Direitos humanos não é uma pauta de esquerda ou de direita. É uma pauta de todos e para todos. Quando se fala em direitos humanos, está se falando dos direitos dos vulneráveis, das mulheres, crianças, pessoas com deficiência, idosos, isso que precisa ser mostrado para a sociedade”, disse. “As pessoas encarceradas também precisam ter seus direitos assegurados.”

De acordo com Rocha, em todos os locais, o momento é delicado para a discussão sobre direitos humanos. “Vivemos um momento difícil, no mundo todo – não é uma característica específica do Brasil –, é um momento difícil e, por isso, a importância do reconhecimento de vocês”, afirmou o ministro durante a cerimônia de entrega do Prêmio Direitos Humanos 2018.

Para o ministro, o assunto independe de o Ministério de Direitos Humanos ser mantido com a estrutura atual ou modificada. “Espero que, independentemente do formato que se dê ao ministério, essas pautas continuem avançando, e isso só vai ser possível com a atuação de vocês, em todas as esferas, seja no Poder Executivo, no Ministério Público, no Legislativo, na sociedade civil e [com a participação] de todos aqueles que compartilham e comungam do mesmo ideal.”

Prêmio

Cerca de 50 personalidades e entidades receberam nesta quarta-feira o Prêmio Direitos Humanos, uma iniciativa do governo federal que busca conferir visibilidade e reconhecimento público a atitudes que promovam mais justiça social no país. A cerimônia foi realizada na sede do Ministério dos Direitos Humanos (MDH), em Brasília.

Na lista de agraciados, o presidente do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), ministro  Dias Toffoli, a procuradora-geral da República, Raquel Dodge; o ministro da Segurança Pública, Raúl Jungmann; os ministros do STF Cármen Lúcia e Luís Roberto Barroso; e Estiveram presentes no evento, além do ministro Dias Toffoli, a procuradora-geral da República, Raquel Dodge, e o procurador-geral do Trabalho, Ronaldo Curado Fleury; o Fundo das Nações Unidas para a Infância (Unicef); o Fundo de População das Nações Unidas; a Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (Anac) e a pajé Mapulu Kamayurá, do Parque Indígena do Xingu, conhecido como Alto Xingu.

Em entrevista à Agência Brasil, a líder indígena disse que a região onde mora, compartilhada por 16 povos, precisa de aperfeiçoamento da estrutura básica de saúde. “A gente fica isolada, longe da cidade. Estou procurando apoio para meu povo. A gente precisa de recurso para trabalhar, ir ao hospital, porque lá não tem remédio.”

Segundo Mapulu, mesmo detendo conhecimentos sobre como tratar doenças, algo que herdou de sua família ao se tornar pajé, seus atendimentos não são suficientes para atender à comunidade em que vive. Como líder indígena, ela diz que tem se sentido responsável por suprir as necessidades da comunidade, chegando a socorrer parte dos doentes.

A secretária nacional de Políticas para Mulheres, Andreza Colatto, disse que a indicação de Mapulu foi movida por sua liderança. Segundo a secretária, em breve, a comunidade kamaiurá deverá receber uma remessa de remédios e equipamentos de informática, que serão utilizados para a montagem de um telecentro. “Nós levaremos 10 computadores para a formação de um telecentro, para a qualificação, especialmente, das mulheres, mas também de toda a aldeia”, informou Andreza.

Carta de compromisso 

O ministro Gustavo do Vale Rocha lembrou que, neste ano, estão sendo comemorados os 70 anos da Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos. Ele informou que, ao longo dos próximos dias, banners contendo artigos da declaração serão afixados em todos os prédios da Esplanada dos Ministérios.

A solenidade de hoje foi também pela assinatura da Carta Aberta Empresas pelos Direitos Humanos e pelo lançamento da Revista Científica de Direitos Humanos, periódico que será publicado semestralmente, com o apoio da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes).

O presidente da Câmara dos Deputados, Rodrigo Maia (DEM-RJ), que está no exercício da Presidência da República também participou da cerimônia.
