Mato Grosso do Sul gerou 6.094 novos empregos durante o mês de janeiro, conforme dados do Cadastro Geral de Empregados e Desempregados (Caged). O resultado muito superior ao apurado no mesmo período do ano passado. Em janeiro de 2018 foram gerados 1.589 empregos, portanto o saldo deste ano representa um aumento de 383,5% na criação de postos de trabalho no Estado.
O setor com o melhor desempenho foi Serviços (4.972 novos empregos), seguido da Agropecuária (1.089) e Construção Civil (346). Os destaques foram nos subsetores de Serviços médicos, odontológicos e veterinários (4.483 novas vagas), Comércio Atacadista (802 novas vagas) e Administração de Imóveis (249 novas vagas) e em janeiro.
Os municípios que mais criaram postos de trabalho em janeiro foram: Dourados (4.441), Nova Andradina (334), Campo Grande (246) e Naviraí (186). Em nível nacional, Mato Grosso do Sul apresentou o segundo melhor desempenho na geração de empregos em termos percentuais, com variação de 1.21%. Em primeiro aparece Mato Grosso (1,68%). Em todo o país foram gerados 34.313 postos de trabalho.
