Durante o Fórum Nacional dos Governadores, Reinaldo Azambuja defendeu a unificação em um único texto dos interesses da União com os dos estados e municípios. Ele acompanhou nesta quarta-feira (20.2) a apresentação da reforma da Previdência Social pelos ministros Onyx Lorenzoni (Casa Civil) e Paulo Guedes (Economia), no Centro Internacional de Convenções do Brasil (CICB), em Brasília.
O governador de Mato Grosso do Sul ponderou que a proposta precisa ser amplamente discutida, que alguns pontos ainda sofrerão mudanças, mas que é preciso combater o déficit na Previdência para garantir as aposentadorias e pensões futuras.
“O importante é que está sendo feito tudo junto, tanto aquilo que interessa aos municípios, estados e União, dentro de uma reforma ampla, e agora sugestões que foram colocadas pelos governadores. E não tenho dúvida de que algumas serão acatadas pela equipe econômica e outras serão emendadas porque a função do legislativo é essa”, afirmou Reinaldo Azambuja.
A proposta apresentada pelo Governo Federal cria uma idade mínima de aposentadoria e acaba com a possibilidade, ao final do tempo de transição, de aposentadoria por tempo de contribuição. Para mulheres, a idade mínima de aposentadoria será de 62 anos e, para homens, de 65. Beneficiários terão que contribuir por um mínimo de 20 anos.
A apresentação contou com a presença dos presidentes da Câmara dos Deputados e do Senado, respectivamente, Rodrigo Maia (DEM-RJ) e Davi Alcolumbre (DEM-AP).
