O Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) brasileiro, que é a soma de todos os bens e serviços produzidos no país, cresceu 1,1% em 2018, segundo cálculos – divulgados hoje (19), no Rio de Janeiro – pelo Monitor do PIB, da Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). É a mesma taxa de expansão apresentada em 2017.
A alta foi puxada principalmente pelos serviços, que se expandiram 1,3% no ano. A indústria e a agropecuária também tiveram avanços, ainda que mais moderados, de 0,4% e 0,6%, respectivamente.
Entre os serviços, aqueles que mais se destacaram em 2018 foram os imobiliários (3,1%), comércio (2,1%) e transportes (2%). Os serviços de informação foram os únicos que apresentaram queda (-0,1%).
Já entre os segmentos da indústria, foram registradas altas na eletricidade (1,4%), transformação (1,3%) e extrativa mineral (1,1%). A construção teve queda de 2,4%.
Sob a ótica da demanda, o destaque ficou com a formação bruta de capital fixo, isto é, os investimentos, que cresceram 3,7% no ano de 2018.
O consumo das famílias avançou 1,8% e o consumo de governo, 0,2%. As exportações tiveram alta de 4%, inferior ao crescimento de 8,1% das importações.
No último trimestre do ano, o PIB ficou estável na comparação com o trimestre anterior e cresceu 1% na comparação com o último trimestre de 2017.
O desempenho oficial do PIB é medido pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), que só deve divulgar o resultado de 2018 no próximo dia 28.
