Em 2019, mais 12 escolas estaduais de Ensino Médio passaram a oferecer ensino em tempo integral em Mato Grosso do Sul. Com essa ampliação realizada pelo Governo do Estado, já são 57 unidades integrais de Ensino Fundamental e Médio, espalhadas por Campo Grande e cidades do interior. A Escola de Autoria, como é chamado o modelo de educação em dois turnos no Estado, apresenta uma série de vantagens aos estudantes, entre elas o melhor aproveitamento do conteúdo e, consequentemente, melhor rendimento do aluno.
Até o ano passado, o Estado oferecia 16 Escolas de Autoria de Ensino Médio – que vai do 1º ao 3º ano. As unidades (11 na Capital e 5 no interior) atendiam 4,6 mil estudantes. Com a ativação dessas 12 escolas de Ensino Médio passam a ser beneficiados 7,8 mil alunos, matriculados em 28 escolas nas cidades de Campo Grande, Maracaju, Corumbá, Naviraí, Ponta Porã, Dourados, Coxim, Bela Vista, Caarapó, Jardim, Amambai, Ribas do Rio Pardo, Sidrolândia, Camapuã, Anastácio, Cassilândia e Fátima do Sul.
Já no Ensino Fundamental, que vai do 1º ao 9º ano, existem 29 escolas, sendo 12 na Capital e 17 no interior – Anastácio, Aquidauana, Bodoquena, Miranda, Jaraguari, Terenos, Corumbá (duas escolas), Coxim, Dourados, Fátima do Sul, Nova Andradina, Taquarussu, Paranaíba, Cassilândia, Ponta Porã e Três Lagoas. Estão matriculados 4,5 mil alunos nessas séries.
Há mais de 10 anos atuando na Educação, o diretor da EE Amélio de Carvalho Baís, em Campo Grande, Paulo Antonio Castaldeli, explica que os benefícios para alunos das Escolas de Autoria são imensos e permanentes. “As Escolas de Autoria trabalham não só no conteúdo, mas na formação do indivíduo. É o que o aluno vai levar por toda a vida. Além disso, todos os projetos são interdisciplinares e curriculares”.
A reforma geral da Amélio de Carvalho Baís, com adequação de acessibilidade, foi no valor de quase R$ 1 milhão – recursos do FNDE -, beneficiando estudantes de Ensino Médio de Tempo Integral, além de professores, coordenadores e profissionais do setor administrativo.
Conforme o método de ensino e aprendizado das Escolas de Autoria do Estado, os alunos recebem, além das matérias da base nacional comum curricular, disciplinas que trabalham na formação individual. “Temos uma disciplina chamada Projeto de Vida e nela direcionamos o aluno ao amadurecimento em diversas dimensões, incluindo o que ele pretende fazer na faculdade. Temos também as matérias eletivas. Nesse caso, ele escolhe em qual delas tem mais interesse. Oferecemos diversas opções como Astronomia, Climatologia, Matemática Financeira, entre outras”, disse Paulo.
Os 400 alunos matriculados na Amélio Baís cursam nove matérias diárias, na carga horária que vai das 7h10 às 16h35. “Nem todas as escolas começam exatamente no mesmo horário, mas essa é a média de tempo. Os alunos do primeiro ano, quando chegam, estranham um pouco no começo, mas depois adoram. Inclusive, a procura por vaga é muito grande. Se tivéssemos mais vagas, elas estariam ocupadas, com certeza”, afirma o diretor.
