Artistas interessados em expor suas obras no Museu de Arte Contemporânea (Marco) ainda podem encaminhar propostas de mostras inéditas – individuais ou coletivas – para o edital do Programa de Exposições Temporárias deste ano. O prazo de entrega foi prorrogado e os projetos serão recebidos até 28 de fevereiro.
As exposições temporárias tem espaço reservado em quatro salas destinadas exclusivamente à divulgação e ao reconhecimento dos artistas visuais contemporâneos. Além delas o Marco possui ainda uma sala com exposição de longa duração constituída por obras de seu acervo.
Com as mostras o Marco busca o incentivo à pesquisa contemporânea em artes visuais, a valorização da arte, com a intenção de torná-la acessível ao público e a apresentação de novas trajetórias artísticas em artes visuais.
As propostas serão avaliadas pela Comissão Curatorial do Museu, obedecendo às seguintes exigências:
- Ficha de inscrição preenchida e assinada;
- Apresentação de Projeto relativo à exposição pretendida e de documentação fotográfica de, no mínimo, 2/3 das obras que serão expostas, com identificação completa (título, técnica, dimensões e data);
- Curriculum Vitae (restrito à identificação e formação artística, catálogos e impressos em geral sobre exposições anteriores do artista), com endereço e telefone para contato.
O material especificado deve ser colocado em envelope ou em embalagem lacrada com o nome do artista, devendo ser dirigido ao:

A documentação completa com a ficha de inscrição preenchida poderá ser enviada pelos Correios, com a data de postagem até 28 de fevereiro de 2019, ou entregue no Marco, de terça a sexta-feira, das 7h30 às 17h30, até a data supracitada. Confira o edital completo com a ficha de inscrição.
O resultado será divulgado até o dia 25 de março nos sites oficiais da FCMS ou do Marco e comunicado individualmente, através de e-mail fornecido na ficha de inscrição.
