O resgate de patrimônios históricos como o teatro Aracy Balabanian e a Casa do Artesão, em Campo Grande; e do Castelinho, em Ponta Porã; e a manutenção dos Festivais de Bonito (Festin Bonito) e Corumbá (América do Sul) estão entre as prioridades do Governo de Mato Grosso do Sul na área cultural. A informação é da nova presidente da Fundação de Cultura (FCMS), Mara Caseiro, que foi empossada em ato publicado nesta terça-feira (12.2), no Diário Oficial do Estado (DOE).
“Vamos fazer um planejamento das atividades culturais em uma gestão democrática, ouvindo todos os segmentos. O governador atribuiu algumas missões. Uma delas é o resgate de patrimônios como o Centro Cultural José Octávio Guizzo, que hoje, infelizmente, está com o Teatro Aracy Balanian impossibilitado de receber espetáculos. Vamos fazer a recuperação desse espaço, uma reestruturação geral porque é um espaço de extrema importância”, conta a nova gestora.
O primeiro desafio dela à frente da pasta, no entanto, será outro: o Carnaval. Em 2019, o Governo de Mato Grosso do Sul irá patrocinar apenas as duas maiores festas carnavalescas do Estado: em Corumbá e Campo Grande. Após o Brasil enfrentar a maior crise da história, o governador Reinaldo Azambuja optou por destinar para a área da saúde parte do dinheiro que antes irrigava a festa popular.
Para conseguir mais recursos para o setor, Mara Caseiro pretende buscar parcerias com empresários, fazer uso da Lei Rouanet e planeja ainda uma audiência no Ministério da Cultura. “A cultura faz parte da nossa identidade. É algo muito importante e que precisa ser valorizado, mas temos que tirar a sobrecarga do Governo do Estado e buscar alternativas”.
Ex-deputada estadual e ex-prefeita de Eldorado, ela afirma ainda que irá trabalhar para que os artistas regionais recebam o reconhecimento pelo trabalho. “Sou do interior e entendo que nossos artistas e nossa diversidade cultural têm que ser valorizados. Faremos os talentos da nossa terra ficarem mais conhecidos com circuitos de dança, teatro e música”, finaliza.
