Na última semana, mais de 30 agentes de saúde e de combate a endemias estiveram mobilizados em uma força-tarefa de combate ao Aedes aegypti – transmissor da dengue, zika e chikungunya na região do Alves Pereira. O resultado foi mais de 4 mil depósitos eliminados e duas caçambas de resíduos e materiais inservíveis de grande volume recolhidos.
Durante a ação, os agentes vistoriaram 1.458 imóveis e 450 terrenos baldios. Além dos mais de 4 mil depósitos (potenciais criadouros ) descartados, foram encontrados e eliminados 140 focos do mosquito.
Segundo a supervisora de área da Coordenadoria de Controle de Endemias Vetoriais (CCEV), Josiane Abregos, o trabalho deve continuar ao longo desta semana e objetivo é vistoriar os 5 mil imóveis dos bairros Colibri, Alves Pereira, Naschiville, Vila Antunes e parcelamentos adjacentes.
Ação semelhante teve início nesta segunda-feira (04) na região do bairro Jardim Botafogo, onde mais de 60 agentes foram mobilizados.

A região do Bairro Alves Pereira foi a primeira a ser escolhida para receber a força-tarefa por ter apresentado o maior índice de 7.3% de infestação para o mosquito Aedes aegypti,conforme o último Levantamento Rápido de Infestação do Aedes aegypti (LiRaa).
Em seguida aparecem as áreas da UBS Universitário (6.3%), UBSF Vida Nova (6.1%); Cruzeiro/Autonomista (6%), UBS Dona Neta (5.6%), UBSF Cidade Morena (5%), UBS Jockey Clube (4.5%) e Centro Amambai (4.5%). Dados epidemiológicos
Até o momento foram notificados 1047 casos de dengue, 26 de zika e 32 de chikungunya. Em janeiro do ano passado (2018) foram notificados 374 casos de dengue, 27 de chikungunya e 22 de zika.
