A Polícia Militar de Mato Grosso do Sul divulgou nesta quinta-feira (3.01) o resultado geral da Operação Boas Festas que foi realizada entre os dias 3 de dezembro e 2 de janeiro. A ação que ocorre anualmente em razão do aumento do fluxo de pessoas pelas áreas comercias dos municípios por conta do 13º salário e festividades natalinas, tendo sido realizadas abordagens a 56.990 pessoas e 42.799 veículos.
As ações que aconteceram em todas as cidades do Estado resultaram na apreensão de 51 armas de fogo, 157 veículos produtos de roubo e furto recuperados, 324 foragidos da Justiça foram capturados, 1.986 pessoas conduzidas às delegacias, 4.007 autos de infração lavrados, 444 veículos removidos durante as fiscalizações de trânsito e 25 notificações ambientais emitidas. Além disso mais de 10,9 toneladas de drogas foram retiradas de circulação e 302.550 maços de cigarros apreendidos.
O comandante-geral da Polícia Militar, coronel Waldir Ribeiro Acosta, destacou a importância da Operação Boas Festas que aconteceu simultaneamente em todo MS, e parabenizou o empenho da corporação, que através do trabalho realizado proporcionou a população sul-mato-grossense e visitantes maior sensação de tranquilidade e segurança.
“Neste período foram realizadas rondas ostensivas, ações educativas e preventivas de policiamento comunitário, por equipes de motos, viaturas quatro rodas e policiamento montado, que produziram resultados positivos”, pontuou o comandante. Foram realizadas ações terrestres e aéreas.
