A partir de dezembro o Sesc Corumbá contará com exposição permanente de obras de Jorapimo, um dos mais expressivos artistas plásticos de Mato Grosso do Sul. A vernissage de abertura da exposição será no dia 03 de dezembro, segunda-feira, às 19h30.
Para a exposição, que será permanente, o Sesc adquiriu 22 telas que pertenciam a um colecionador particular e que agora poderão ser contempladas pelo público em geral, na cidade em que viveu Jorapimo e que inspirou sua pintura, retratando o homem pantaneiro, sua rotina e belíssimas paisagens.
“Ter a obra de Jorapimo de volta à Corumbá é um presente para a cidade Branca. O Sesc prepara um ambiente e um atmosfera artística para receber a exposição que ficará permanentemente aberta a visitações e com agendamentos de visitas mediadas”, diz a gerente da unidade, Thayná Cambará.
Pioneiro nas artes plásticas no Estado, Jorapimo foi precursor de potentes exposições e de traços fortes e marcantes que elevaram o retrato da paisagem de Mato Grosso do Sul traços fortes e marcantes, características do impressionismo.
José Ramão Pinto de Moraes, o Jorapimo, (1937 -2009) começou a pintar aos 14 anos de idade e das duas mais de 3 mil obras, 50 foram catalogadas pelo Iphan. É considerado o introdutor da pintura moderna no Estado.
