Estado e prefeitura ampliam principal via do Nova Lima

Com 85% da pavimentação concluída, as frentes de serviço em andamento no Nova Lima estão concentradas na principal via comercial do bairro, Avenida Zulmira Borba que será recapeada e duplicada, passando a ter 17 metros de  largura, dimensão adequada para ter duas pistas que absorverão o fluxo de entrada e saída de veículos dos vários conjuntos habitacionais existentes às suas margens.

Nesta quarta-feira (28) começou também a preparação da Rua Marquês de Herval, “o corredor da Nova Lima”, que terá 548 metros do pavimento refeito,  entre a Cônsul Assaf Trad e a Rua Padre Antônio Francisco.  Na primeira quadra já foram feitas as correções do asfalto antigo e na seguinte a fresagem está em andamento.

IMG_1524Nesta  etapa da intervenção na Zulmira Borba (entre a Avenida Cônsul Assaf Trad e a Rua Jerônimo de Albuquerque), o serviço começou no sentido bairro/centro. Já estão prontas duas quadras, entre a Jerônimo e a Rua Padre Antônio. Toda a extensão da avenida será duplicada até a Rua Major Giovane Francisco, como parte da pavimentação do Complexo Zé Tavares (a partir do cruzamento da Rua Francisco Pereira Coutinho) e do Nova Lima etapa B (da Jerônimo de Albuquerque até a Francisco Pereira).

Sob os olhares atentos de moradores e comerciantes, operários e equipamentos da empreiteira estão preparando a base  do trecho da quadra adiante  que termina na Rua Nefe Pael. “Há 18 anos moro aqui, neste tempo, presenciei muitos acidentes na entrada ou saída de serviço, porque a pista era muito estreita, para tanto carro”, comenta o aposentado  Carlos Zoberto, que aposta na valorização do imóvel e já avalia a possibilidade de construir um salão para uma possível locação comercial.

Quem já está estabelecido na Zulmira Borba, como o microempresário, João Luiz Camurça, aposta em crescimento das vendas porque com a duplicação da avenida muita gente que hoje busca rotas alternativas (como a Jerônimo de Albuquerque), optará por este caminho, mais rápido porque o acesso é pela Cônsul Assaf Trad.IMG_1566

Esta confiança é compartilhada por Abélio Sanches, dono de um restaurante na mesma quadra onde está estabelecida a empresa do senhor João, que comercializa forro de PVC.

Obras do Etapa B

A Prefeitura está investindo R$ 23,3 milhões nas obras de drenagem, pavimentação e recapeamento do Bairro Nova Lima, etapa A. Os 8,75 quilômetros de drenagem projetados já foram concluídas; mais de 85% do pavimento previsto (18,38 k) está pronto e além da Rua Marquês de Herval e da Avenida Zulmira Borba, serão recapeados ainda  832 metros da Jerônimo de Albuquerque ( a partir do cruzamento com a Guilherme de Almeida). O pavimento da primeira quadra da Jerônimo de Albuquerque já foi refeito, assim como, foi recapeada a pista bairro/centro da Cônsul Assaf Trad, numa extensão de 2,2 km.

Nesta primeira etapa da pavimentação do Nova Lima, abrange asfaltamento das ruas Sócrates; Dona Maria Izabel; Dom Sebastião Lemes; Santo Inácio de Loiola;  Júlio Prestes; Eugênio Lima; Randolfo Lima; Assunção  Borba;  Martin Faustino; Padre Antonio Franco, Botafogo; Eugênio Silvério; Alfredo Borba; Firmo Cristaldo; Galileu; Aquiles; Celina Baís Martins, além das avenidas Carlota Joaquina e Cândido Garcia.  Estes trechos ficam no quadrilátero formado pelas ruas Jerônimo de Albuquerque; Zulmira Borba; Cônsul Assaf Trad e Marquês de Herval
