Inspirado nos anos 80, Davi Buq lança seu primeiro disco fim do mês na Capital

“Barco de Papel” é um disco pop voltado para a nostalgia dos anos 80 e 90.

O amor pela música surgiu ainda na infância do músico Davi Buq, quando entrou para uma fanfarra. Mas foi seu primeiro emprego, numa loja de discos, que deu o gás para que seguisse no ramo da música. Agora ele lança seu primeiro álbum, intitulado “Barco de Papel”. O show de lançamento será na Plataforma Cultural, dia 30, às 20h. O disco conta com recursos do FMIC (Fundo Municipal de Investimento Cultural), advindos da Sectur (Secretaria Municipal de Cultura e Turismo).

O disco tem oito músicas. São elas: Incertezas, Não É Só Momento, Reencontro, Neblina Part of Your Smile, Algum Lugar, Barco de Papel e Seu Ninho. A noite de lançamento será um pocket show intimista, com performances de teatro e dança. Haverá brindes e sorteios de CD’s, além da venda deles. A entrada para o show é gratuita e os CD’s serão vendidos a 10 reais.

“Barco de Papel” contou com a participação de dois renomados instrumentistas brasileiros: o pianista Deangelo Silva, reconhecido em diversos países com seu álbum Downriver, e Daniel Santiago, guitarrista, membro da banda O Teatro Mágico e autor de grandes álbuns instrumentais, como Union, Simbiose, Metropole e On The Way.

“Deangelo conheci na Bahia em 2011, ficamos amigos lá. Quando surgiu a oportunidade da gravação do disco, liguei pra ele e propus de produzirmos juntos esse álbum. Ele topou, veio a Campo Grande, produzimos e gravamos o álbum inteiro juntos. Daniel eu conheci através do Deangelo, que o convidou para gravar as oito faixas do disco. As guitarras foram gravadas em São Paulo, onde Daniel mora. A mixagem foi iniciada em Berlin, numa viagem que Deangelo fez em maio, e finalizada em Mariana, Minas Gerais”, relata Davi.
Influências

Suas influências musicais da infância perduraram até hoje. João Bosco, Djavan, Marisa Monte, Caetano, Jorge Ben Jor, entre outros nomes da MPB estão entre suas referências. “Minha mãe colocava esses cantores para tocar enquanto fazíamos faxina na casa”, relembra ele afetivo.

Mas “Barco de Papel” tem mais a pegada do pop da década de 80, com timbres característicos da época. “O movimento Synthpop é muito forte nas referências do álbum com o surgimento de timbres modernos e muito tecnológicos para a época. Nomes como Billy Idol, The Smiths, A-Há, Men At Work, Depeche Mode, The Police, entre outras, representam bem a nostalgia que buscamos inserir”, pontua.

As composições são todas próprias e sua inspiração está nas pessoas. “O comportamento alheio é algo incrível. Adoro conhecer as histórias de vida das pessoas, seus desejos, sonhos, desilusões amorosas”, diz Davi. “Também sou muito motivado por histórias de amor e conquista. Minhas letras, no final das contas, caem nessa linguagem universal que é o amor. A maioria das minhas declamações são fictícias. É como se eu desejasse que aquilo acontecesse. O desejo é tamanho que virou música”, completa.

A criação de cada canção é um processo metódico. Primeiro vem a melodia instrumental e vocal, para só então encaixar as letras. “É um processo divertido e tenso também. Tudo precisa se encaixar no final. Admiro quem consegue musicar poemas ou letras”, reflete o músico.

História

Davi começou tocando percussão na noite campo-grandense quando ainda trabalhava na loja de discos. Depois mudou-se para Arraial D’Ajuda, na Bahia, para trabalhar em uma locadora de carros. O Serviço não deu certo e acabou trabalhando como caixa nas festas de lá.

Com o tempo foi conhecendo a cena musical da cidade e voltou a acompanhar músicos na percussão, bateria e contrabaixo. Certo dia, um desses músicos pediu para ele tocar músicas no violão e cantar enquanto faria um intervalo. “Toquei meu modesto repertório, rolaram aplausos, então percebi que poderia trabalhar com isso. Quando vi estava com a agenda lotada, cantando nos bares, festas particulares, réveillons e até casamentos. Fazendo voz e violão consegui comprar meus equipamentos. Foi na Bahia que me encontrei como pessoa e como profissional”, conta.

Com seu álbum ele espera fazer seu público dançar, cantar, se emocionar e esquecer um pouco os problemas. “Disseminar o amor através de um primeiro disco é um sonho na minha carreira”, finaliza.
