Capital recebe a 12ª Mostra Cinema e Direitos Humanos

Em celebração aos 70 anos da Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos, acontece gratuitamente de 19 a 24 de novembro na Capital a 12ª Mostra Cinema e Direitos Humanos. A abertura será no Museu de Arte Contemporânea (MARCO) com apresentação especial de Ju Souc e a exibição de filmes nos períodos matutino, vespertino e noturno no Centro Cultural José Octávio Guizzo (CCJOG).

Serão realizados debates e exibidos 40 filmes, divididos em 4 mostras: Temática, Panorama, Mostrinha, dedicada ao público infanto-juvenil, e Homenagem, que celebra a carreira do ator e diretor Milton Gonçalves. Além das sessões no Centro Cultural, serão feitas sessões especiais nas unidades da Rede Solidária Dom Antônio e Noroeste e no Instituto Sul-Mato-Grossense para Cegos (ISMAC).

Os filmes abordam as diversas temáticas dos Direitos Humanos, como memória e verdade, questões de gênero, população negra, população indígena, população LGBT, imigrantes, direito das pessoas com deficiência, direito da criança, direito dos idosos, direito da mulher, direito à saúde, direito à educação, diversidade religiosa e meio ambiente. Para permitir a acessibilidade, todas as sessões contam com closed caption, e em sessões selecionadas haverá áudio descrição e Libras. Os espaços onde ocorrem as exibições também possuem estrutura acessível para receber os diferentes públicos, além de contar com a programação em Braille para consulta.

A iniciativa acontece nas 26 capitais e no Distrito Federal nos meses de novembro e dezembro com entrada franca, sendo realizada pela Secretaria Nacional de Cidadania do Ministério dos Direitos Humanos (MDH), com produção do Instituto Cultura em Movimento (ICEM) do Rio de Janeiro. É realizada em Campo Grande pela Render Brasil Produções com o apoio da Fundação de Cultura de Mato Grosso do Sul (FCMS).

DUDH – A Declaração Universal dos Direitos Humanos surgiu em 1948 como um grito de liberdade e o clamor por respeito, contra o fascismo e os milhões de mortes da 2ª Guerra Mundial. Segundo a diretora de Promoção e Educação em Direitos Humanos do MDH, Juciara Rodrigues, a Mostra promove ações públicas que transcendem governos, por isso já está em sua 12ª edição.

“Trata-se de uma revolução silenciosa e maravilhosa. Vai até as pessoas para mostrar a elas a importância de ser cidadão e do respeito ao próximo. Chega até elas levando educação amorosa e libertária, para que possam refletir qual o nosso papel no mundo. É uma forma de lutar e resistir a qualquer tipo de opressão, de objeção em relação ao exercício da nossa cidadania e direitos.”, diz Juciara.

Homenageado – Com mais de 70 filmes no cinema, o ator e diretor Milton Gonçalves, homenageado na Mostra, é um dos mais prolíficos artistas do país. Presente nas telas e palcos desde a década de 50, participou da história da televisão, do teatro e do cinema brasileiros. Sua versatilidade dramática e seu talento venceram as barreiras que normalmente são impostas aos artistas negros no país.

“Sua atuação no cenário político e sua militância pelos Direitos Humanos e contra o racismo o tornam um desses artistas cuja trajetória precisa ser registrada e cuja história deve ser contada para os jovens. Milton Gonçalves soube como poucos manter um rigor artístico e, ao mesmo tempo, uma atuação e coerência política. Com a proximidade de seus 85 anos de vida, em 2018, é fundamental conhecer o homem, marido, pai, político, ator e diretor Milton Gonçalves”, diz a diretora do ICEM Luciana Boal.
