O candidato do PSL à Presidência, Jair Bolsonaro, foi alvo de uma facada na região do abdômen durante evento de campanha em Juiz de Fora (MG) nesta quinta-feira e, de acordo com a GloboNews, está sendo submetido a uma cirurgia pois o golpe teria atingido seu fígado.
Antes da informação sobre a cirurgia, Flavio Bolsonaro, um dos filhos do presidenciável, disse à GloboNews que seu pai passava bem e que havia recebido seis pontos no local do ferimento.
Um suspeito apontado como autor do ataque foi preso em flagrante e foi levado para a sede da Polícia Federal na cidade mineira.
A PF disse ainda que abriu inquérito para apurar o esfaqueamento e que Bolsonaro contava com a escolta de policiais federais quando foi atingido por uma faca durante ato público na cidade mineira.
Um vídeo mostrou Bolsonaro sendo carregado após sofrer o ataque com o que parecia ser um papel sobre o local do ferimento. Outro vídeo, feito por celular, mostrou o momento do ataque. Bolsonaro era carregado nos ombros por simpatizantes, quando sofre a facada na região do abdômen.
Pouco depois do ataque, outros candidatos à Presidência se manifestaram em repúdio ao ataque contra Bolsonaro, que lidera a corrida presidencial, e pedindo a punição dos responsáveis.
