De 08 de agosto a 29 de setembro o Sesc Cultura recebe, por meio do projeto ArteSesc, a exposição “Palavras Compartilhadas”, de Rosana Ricalde (RJ). A artista plástica estará na Capital para vernissage de abertura, no dia 07, às 19 horas e no dia 08, às 19h30, participa de um bate-papo em que trará para o público seu processo criativo e de sua aposta no artista como agente de si mesmo.
A visitação estará aberta de terça a sábado, das 10h às 20 horas, e haverá visitações com audiodescrição e libras, nos dias 15 de agosto às 17h30 e no dia 20 de setembro, às 18h30.
A artista plástica niteroiense se destaca no cenário contemporâneo com suas criações a partir das palavras. A exposição “Palavras Compartilhadas” apresenta três momentos relacionais entre a escrita e três motivos: imagem, paisagem e construção textual. Reunidos sob as séries intituladas Contrapoemas, Auto-Retratos, Provérbios, O tempo muda tudo, Mar Egeu/Mar Vermelho, Globo e os Manifestos, somando 22 trabalhos, com inspiração em textos de livros.
A reconstrução das palavras trafega de forma literária para a forma visual. Ao apropriar-se de textos teóricos ou poéticos, a artista apresenta uma nova leitura da linguagem, remetendo-nos ao poder da palavra ao longo dos tempos – por conseguinte, seus trabalhos evocam geografias, histórias, filosofias. O percurso da artista, repleto de processos particulares e universais, é também ligado às vanguardas da arte conceitual, aos movimentos artísticos do século 20, como o Dadaísmo, a poesia concreta, o surrealismo, em uma flagrante confluência de elementos contemporâneos.
Rosana utiliza-se para escrever de materiais considerados obsoletos, como a fita rotuladora, e cria com estes meios uma visualidade, onde o processo de fazer é primordial à obra, assim como a escolha minuciosa dos objetos com que vai trabalhar.
Sobre a artista plástica – Rosana Ricalde vive e trabalha em Rio das Ostras e Rio de Janeiro. Bacharel em Gravura pela Escola de Belas Artes da UFRJ, expõe regularmente desde 2000. Participa em importantes exposições coletivas no Brasil e exterior como: The Storytellers: Narratives in International Contemporary Art – Stenersen Museum – Oslo – Noruega, 2012; Contested Territories – Dorsky Gallery – Long Island City – NY, 2012; 100 Obras, 10 Anos: Uma Selecção da Colecção da Fundação PLMJ – Fundação Arpad Szenes – Vieira da Silva – Lisboa – Portugal, 2012. A sua obra está representada em diversas coleções institucionais: Coleção SESC Nacional; Coleção Gilberto Chateaubriand, MAM, Rio de Janeiro; Coleção Banco Itaú, São Paulo; Coleção Patrícia Phelps Cisneiros.
ArteSesc – Um dos principais agentes de difusão das Artes Plásticas no país, o Sesc, por meio do ArteSesc, procura estabelecer as condições do diálogo necessário entre artistas plásticos e o público interessado nesse segmento. Atualmente, a programação busca dar visibilidade à produção artística moderna e contemporânea, marcando uma nova fase do projeto.
A mostra Palavras Compartilhadas de Rosana Ricalde reflete a afinidade do ArteSesc com as novas tendências, favorecendo a produção artística em diferentes linguagens.
