MS deve recuperar crescimento do PIB em 2019

Campo Grande (MS) – Impulsionado pelo forte desempenho do agronegócio e pela crescente diversificação da base econômica nos últimos três anos, Mato Grosso do Sul será, em 2019, um dos oito estados brasileiros que deve recuperar o patamar de crescimento do Produto Interno Bruto (PIB) que registrava no período antes da crise. De acordo com as projeções das empresas de consultoria do mercado financeiro, o PIB de Mato Grosso do Sul deve crescer 2,1% no próximo ano, próximo das prévias feitas pelo IBGE.

É o que aponta matéria do jornal Valor Econômico, publicada nesta sexta-feira (20.7). De acordo com a publicação, apesar da lenta recuperação da economia do país, o PIB de 8 das 27 unidades da federação deve recuperar o nível pré-crise ao fim do próximo ano. Entre os Estados nessa situação estão o Mato Grosso do Sul e Mato Grosso (puxados pelo bom desempenho agropecuário), Roraima, Rondônia, Amazonas, Pará, Acre e Santa Catarina.

Os cálculos, segundo o Valor, são dos economistas Adriano Pitoli e Camila Saito, da Tendências Consultoria Integrada, que estimaram os desempenhos regionais do período 2016-2019. O estudo antecipa os números oficiais do PIB por unidade da federação, divulgados pelo IBGE com três anos de defasagem em relação às Contas Nacionais. Os últimos dados oficiais estaduais referem-se a 2015.

De acordo com os analistas da Tendências Consutoria, a safra de soja deve bater recorde neste ano e impulsionar o Mato Grosso e o Mato Grosso do Sul, que devem ter crescimento de 3,7% e 2,1% do PIB, respectivamente. A agropecuária também promete ser mais generosa em Roraima e em Rondônia, contribuindo para alta de 3,2% do PIB de cada um deles. Esses quatro Estados devem acelerar ainda mais no ano que vem e recuperar o nível anterior à crise.

Na avaliação do secretário Jaime Verruck, da Semagro (Secretaria de Estado de Meio Ambiente, Desenvolvimento Econômico, Produção e Agricultura Familiar), “esse estudo corrobora com as nossas projeções de crescimento. Tivemos um excelente desempenho na soja em 2017, com altos índices de produtividade e aumento da área de plantio, resultando numa safra recorde com mais de 9 milhões de toneladas de grãos. Nossa previsão para 2018 e um pouco menor, devido a fatores externos, mas o que nos preocupa no momento é o tabelamento do frete, que pode impactar na competitividade nosso produto”.

Titular da Semagro lembra, ainda o processo de diversificação da pauta de exportações do Estado, com agregação de valor adicionado, também tem impactado positivamente nas projeções de crescimento do PIB. “A expansão das atividades de base florestal, com novas indústrias e variedades de produtos, tem sido fundamental nesse sentido”, finalizou.

Outros estados

De acordo com os dados da Tendências, publicado no jornal Valor, o PIB de Santa Catarina, pode crescer 2,8% neste ano e 3% em 2019. Na região Norte, além de Roraima e Rondônia, a consultoria chamou atenção para o crescimento projetado de 3,2% e 5,4% do Pará. Em 2019, o PIB local estará 11,3% acima do nível verificado em 2014. Isso é explicado pelo crescimento da produção de minério de ferro, com destaque para o projeto S11D, da Vale, maior empreendimento da história da mineradora.
